Roger is a comedy improv performer, instructor, and coach in the Houston area.

He has performed with Station since it’s inception and was a member of Station’s inaugural Harold Troupe, Structure.

He is an improv program graduate of both The Upright Citizens Brigade Theater LA and The New Movement Theater based in Austin. Roger has attended workshops and been coached by dozens of mainstage performers from the UCB, iO, Annoyance and Huge theaters.

He has performed at such venues as The Second City LA, iO West, The Clubhouse (LA), TNM Austin/NOLA, Houston Improv Festival, Trill Comedy Festival, and TNM’s Megaphone Marathons.

Roger’s most notable teams include This Infinite ClosetTricerasquid vs. MegaKitten, Dylan, Lady Treehouse, SMH, The 9s, and The Other Baldwin.

He is also a trained vocalist and member of a society dedicated to preserving barbershop quartet singing, which is absolutely a real thing.

Jessica Brown is a native Houstonian and a graduate of The University of Texas at Austin. She recently left a nearly 20-year career in destination marketing to focus on Station Theater full time – thanks to some inspiration from Duran Duran.

As Director of Station & Co-Owner of Phase 3 Comedy, LLC, Jessica oversees PR & Marketing and the Applied Improv program for businesses. She is an instructor and has coached Station’s Launchpad student troupe for more than 10 seasons. Jessica also serves as Producer and Director of Marketing for the Houston Improv FestivalTrill Comedy Festival, and BeachProv Women’s Improv Retreat in St. Augustine, FL. Jess has recorded two audio books, several radio commercials for Texas destinations, and is a regular guest on local public radio show Houston Matters.

Jessica completed the training programs at ComedySportz Houston and The New Movement in 2010 and has continued her improv and sketch comedy education with inspirations from Kids in the Hall, iO Chicago, Annoyance Theater, Huge Theater, The New Movement and more. Jess toured nationally with TNM’s Tourceratops in 2012 and has performed at the Trill Comedy Festival, Houston Improv Festival, Improv Wins, Megaphone Marathons and Houston Fringe Festival.

Steven started improvising at Purdue University, where he earned his B.A. in Theatre-Acting. Steven is also a graduate of the Station Theater Conservatory.

He has performed and taught both long form and short form improvisation, since 2006 and 2008, respectively.

Steven has performed at the Trill Comedy Festival, Houston Improv Festival, Improv Wins and Houston Fringe Festival. He regularly performs with several house troupes at Station Theater as well as This Infinite ClosetThe MockumentalistsPadded Cell, Matt’s on Stage, Like-Minded People, Space Mutt, Red Hot Mammas, The 9s, Unwilling Voyeur and his solo improv show Prolific.

Steven has trained with Jill Bernard, Joe Bill, Tara DeFrancisco, the staff of ComedySportz Indianapolis, Holly Laurent, Chris Trew, Purdue’s Ship of Fools, much of the Purdue University Theatre staff and many others. Steven also received mentorship under Richard Stockton Rand.

Steven teaches forms, coaches, and produces shows/troupes at Station Theater.
