FRIDAYS AT 7:00 PM

Our FREE Level 0 class is a fun, no-pressure way to try improv! This weekly 30-minute class lets you get a taste of Station’s improv training program, and it’s a great way to spend a Friday night! Students will receive a discount code for our nine-week Level 1 class and are invited to stay for the 8:00 pm show for free, pending ticket availability.

These special shows show off our up-and-coming talent from Station Theater! Help us celebrate our students as they progress through the Station Theater Training Center! Student teams are supported by guest veteran improv troupes.

  • Pure Inanimation: Pure Inanimation brings the world of inanimate objects to life in a fun and exciting improv show. Cast: Lisa Beckman, Meredith Faber, Stephanie Marzuola, Carolyn Wallace, Jamie West, Sarah Willett

  • Trash Family: Trash Family was created from miscellaneous members of other Station troupes and graduates, and their chemistry was undeniable from the jump. 8:00 PM: Improv Comedy

  • Boobytrap: It starts with a suggestion that inspires real-life stories from the women of Boobytrap. What follows is a whimsical, irreverent Harold. Watch out, or you'll get caught in a Boobytrap.   • The Adventures of Lenny and Al: First there was the movie; then there was the game; then the book; then the limited series on Freevee; now, the improv show. Join Al and Lenny on their wildest journey yet, as they discover the Bottle City of Kandor and befriend Nortle, the long-winded half-man/half-turtle disgraced professor (plot subject to change). All seating at Station Theater is General Admission. Doors open 15 minutes before showtime. Our lobby is the outdoor seating area next to the building.

Shows are recommended for 18+ due to possible adult humor. 17 & under are welcome at the discretion of the accompanying adult.

All shows are BYOB. We do not provide set-ups. Small coolers are okay. We have water for sale, or you may walk across the parking lot to the Toros HTX Cafe for light snacks and beverages. Please dispose of all trash as you leave.

Located next to Toros HTX Soccer on Crockett between Taylor and Hemphill Streets.

PARKING & TRANSPORTATION

Ample street parking is available along Crockett, Hemphill, Summer, and Taylor Streets. Check street signs for parking availability & restrictions. Please be mindful when parking in front of area homes. Some driveways are difficult to see.

The #30 bus stops at Sawyer St and Shearn St, which is approximately a 2-minute walk. See attached photo of our building for reference.
