Join us every Friday at 8:00 PM for Friday Improv Implosion - the most original comedy show in Houston - featuring rotating cast members, surprise guests, and one-of-a kind laughs.
The show kicks off with The LoddERY, featuring some of Houston’s top improvisers alongside brave audience volunteers from that night’s free Level 0 - Intro to Improv class. Anything can happen when the rookies jump on stage, and no two sets are ever the same.
Closing out the night is THE IMPLOSION, where performers take a “question of the week” straight from the audience and spin it into outrageous stories, characters, and sketches. Every show ends with a hilarious crash landing that you won’t see anywhere else in Houston comedy.

Winners of The Cutting Room Floor showcase in Spring 2024, this gourd-geous group has completed five levels of improv and brings plenty of heart, humor, and harvest-fresh creativity to the stage. Together, they prove that great improv is all about listening, support, and a little seasonal spice.

For more than a decade, Station Theater has championed local talent and creativity as Houston’s homegrown hub for smart, irreverent improv and sketch comedy. More than a stage, we’re a playground where students, performers, and even businesses use the power of play to spark laughs, ideas, and connections.
WHERE WE ARE LOCATED
Located at 2000 Nance in Houston’s vibrant 5th Ward Cultural Arts District
Just north of Downtown Houston and south of I-10, with easy access from all major highways
BUILDING ACCESS
The main entrance is at the BACK of the building in the gated parking lot.
A greeter will be at the door to welcome you.
PARKING
Parking lot entrance is located BEHIND the building.
From Nance, turn onto Semmes Street, then take the first right to drive behind the building. The parking lot entrance will be on your right.
This is a GATED lot. The gate should be open during showtimes and will close about one hour before the show ends.
If the gate is not open, please text or call 832.786.0413 for the gate code.
To exit, pull forward slowly toward the gate to activate the sensor and leave plenty of space in front of your vehicle, as the gate opens very wide.
