Train Detour

ALTERNATE ROUTE if you are stuck at the train on Nance Street. See directions below.

Don’t Let the Train Delay YoU!

If you are traveling I-10 Eastbound, please note that the train crossing on the west side of our building can occasionally stop for 30–60 minutes, completely blocking access.

  • PRO TIP: Most GPS apps will suggest the McKee Street exit. SKIP THIS EXIT!

  • RECOMMENDED ROUTE: Take the next one - Exit 770B (Jensen Dr / Meadow St / Gregg St). This ensures a clear, reliable path directly to the theater without any surprise stops.

  • NOTE: There are also railroad tracks crossing Nance near Jensen Drive. However, trains do not stop at this crossing and they tend to move quickly.

  • DETAILED DIRECTIONS BELOW!

Best Route: avoid the tracks entirely

  • Continue on I-10 East past the McKee exit.

  • Take Exit 770B (Jensen Dr / Meadow St / Gregg St).

  • Follow the feeder road as it curves under the highway toward the stoplight.

  • At the light, turn left onto Jensen Drive.

  • Take the next left onto Nance Street.

  • Turn left onto Semmes Street to access theater parking.

Alternate Route: If already stuck on NancE

  • If you can U-Turn safely, turn around and go back toward Hardy Street.

  • Turn right onto Hardy Street at the stop sign.

  • Cross over I-10.

  • Turn left onto the feeder road (Providence Street).

  • Move to the middle lane (do not re-enter the highway).

  • Shift to the left lane after you pass the San Jacinto/Main exit ramp.

  • This lane will turn to the left and go under the highway.

  • At the light, turn left onto Rothwell Street (the I-10 East feeder).

  • Merge onto I-10 East.

  • Take Exit 770B (Jensen Dr / Meadow St / Gregg St).

  • Follow the feeder as it curves under the highway, then turn left at the light on Jensen Drive.

  • Turn left onto Nance Street. (Note: There is also a train on this side of the building, but it does not stop and passes fairly quickly.)

  • Turn left onto Semmes Street to access theater parking.
